Ashwani and Malti have owned Little Champs Day Care since January of 2020. They have a vested interest in education and the early years and are consistently looking for ways to bring the quality of the centre to its highest potential. Malti, a teacher herself, brings a focus on the value of education and guides our educators with her valuable input and perspectives. With her teaching focus on working with neurodivergent children, Malti is able to help us to provide the most inclusive child care possible, with all the necessary supports for success. Ashwani, having extensive experience in management, is able to ensure that the operations of the centre are running smoothly. He works hard to create an environment where staff are valued and respected and are therefore able to translate this into their practice. Ashwani and Malti have overcome the challenges of purchasing a child care right before the pandemic, successfully managing to keep the centre running, even after the covid closures. Their constant support for families, children and educators is unmatched. They are also excited to open a second location in order to support the growing waitlists that are affecting families greatly. They hope to provide some relief to families through the Canada Wide Early Child Care program, in the creation of new spaces with a consistent focus on quality care for all.
